Función Infrastructure Architects are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You’re in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You’ll be there from the start of a project — understanding what’s needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you’ll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget. As an Infrastructure Architect, you’ll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role, so we want you to bring your vision, knowledge, and leadership to each project. To the client, you’re the subject matter expert – consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, you’re the tech leader for implementation. Quién es usted About the role We are hiring a Platform Engineer to help build the internal agent harness: the runtime, orchestration and guardrails that turn foundation models into AI agents doing reliable work at scale. This is harness engineering as a discipline, not a vendor's product, the engineering that wraps a model into governed, useful work. You will build and integrate parts of the harness alongside senior platform engineers, with agentic productivity (agents that ship useful work, safely) as the goal. What you will do - Build and maintain parts of the agent harness: runtime components, tool and MCP integrations, orchestration and guardrail checks. - Build golden paths and reusable patterns that help teams ship agents reliably instead of writing one-off scripts. - Integrate agents with the systems they act on: CI/CD, infrastructure, cloud services and observability, through APIs and MCP. - Implement evaluation and guardrail steps so agent behaviour is tested and governed. - Help track adoption and the productivity impact of agentic workflows. - Support the teams building and running agents on the harness. What success looks like in your first year - You ship harness components and golden paths that teams use to run agents in production. - Agentic workflows you build run reliably under defined guardrails and evaluation. What you will bring - 2-4 years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE or backend software engineering. - Solid software engineering in Python: production services and automation, not only prompts. - Cloud-native foundation: Kubernetes, containers, Infrastructure as Code, one major cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP). - Experience integrating systems through APIs, and an interest in agent and MCP integration. - An interest in agentic AI and a basic grasp of how LLM agents fail and how engineering makes them reliable. - Professional working English and Spanish. Nice to have - Agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen etc. and the Model Context Protocol. - Production use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Codex). - Exposure to LLMOps, agent evaluation or observability for agentic systems. - Exposure to regulated environments (finance, insurance, public sector).
