Senior Analyst, Product Pricing

What Product Pricing contributes to Cardinal Health Revenue Management is responsible for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of market strategy and profitability optimization through pricing and value-capture activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. The group uses modeling, analytics, and econometrics to create pricing strategies for our products and services. Product Pricing is responsible for managing price for all dynamically-priced products or services, including setting pricing structure by contract or customer segment and establishing catalog pricings for complex or new-to-Cardinal products and services. This job family also engages in key acquisitions to assess pricing approach and build enhancements which can be delivered post-close. Qualifications - 2-4 years of experience in pricing, preferred - Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred - Experience in a commercial team environment and working with business partners. What is expected of you and others at this level - Applies working knowledge in the application of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks - Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity - Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve - Applies judgment within defined parameters - Receives general guidance and may receive more detailed instruction on new projects - Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy Responsibilities : - Manage the pricing process within EMEA region. - Launch, manage, and maintain Power Apps pricing application for flow of pricing approvals. - Partner with commercial and finance leaders to align on pricing strategies that drive value for the business. - Update and maintain pricing tools used by commercial, pricing, and finance teams - Owns day-to-day escalation management for complex customer and supplier pricing issues, including situations that require coordination across commercial teams, bids and tenders, contracts, pricing council, and finance teams. - Drives a culture of root cause problem solving, continuous improvement, and process simplification by actively seeking automation opportunities and proactive ways to prevent recurring pricing issues. - Maintains a strong focus on audit controls, quality assurance, compliance requirements, and operational standards while ensuring employees operate within established guidelines.
