Research Assistant in the Finance Department

A comprehensive research project on how to measure the attractiveness of a country for risk capital investors: We provide an updated composite measure that determines the attractiveness of more than 125 countries to receive capital allocations from institutional investors in the private equity asset class. The measure is based on the countries’ economic activity, their capital markets, taxation, investor protection and corporate governance, the human and social environment, and entrepreneurial opportunities. The project will consist in a literature review, a survey conducted among institutional investors, and own econometric analyses. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a finance-related field - Work permit in Spain - Interest in working with databases. - AI Knowledge be preferred. Conditions: Half-time position (915 euros / months before tax).
