Junior Business Analyst

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a fast-growing consumer AI company with 50M+ users that is seeking to onboard a Junior Business Analyst to work closely with founders and senior leadership on high-impact commercial, operational and strategic projects. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Analyse business performance, pricing, churn, product and market opportunities - Build financial models, forecasts, business cases and KPI reporting - Structure ambiguous business problems and turn data into clear, actionable recommendations - Analyse P&Ls, unit economics, ROI and payback logic - Analyse subscription business metrics including MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, LTV, retention and cohort performance - Translate complex analysis into concise recommendations for senior stakeholders - Independently prepare executive-ready presentations and communicate findings clearly - Work closely with founders, senior leadership and operational stakeholders on business-critical initiatives REQUIREMENTS: - 2–4 years of experience in Big Four or middle-tier consulting, specifically within Strategy or Operations practices - Fluent spoken and written English - Experience at Analyst, Associate or Consultant level - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance or another relevant quantitative field - Strong financial modelling capabilities, including P&Ls, unit economics, ROI and payback analysis - Strong understanding of subscription business metrics such as MRR, ARR, CAC, LTV, LTV, retention and cohort analysis - Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH and sensitivity tables - Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment - Comfortable working with uncensored / NSFW AI products BENEFITS: - Fully remote position - B2B contract preferred - Opportunity to work closely with founders and senior leadership - Opportunity to contribute to high-impact commercial, operational and strategic projects within a fast-growing AI company - And many more!
