Fuel and Fire Protection Systems Engineer (Military Derivatives)

Descripción de puesto: An opportunity for a Fuel and Fire Protection Systems Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Fuel, Inerting and Fire Protection Systems Department . You will be part of a team developing Cabin and non-pressurized Fire Protection Systems. As part of Fuel and Air-to-Air Refuelling, you will be involved in activities aiming to develop Fire Protection Systems for Mission Platforms. RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage equipment specification and lead supplier follow-up. - Support System Verification & Validation (V&V), Certification / Qualification processes, and drafting Means of Compliance (MoCs). - Provide on-site support to activities in the Final Assembly Line (FAL) / secondment. - Coordinate system management activities in front of Integrators, Chief Engineers (CEs), and Programme stakeholders. We are looking forward to know you: - Education: Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline. - Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering. - Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics and collaborative capability in dynamic environments. - Languages: Advanced level in English & Spanish (both written & spoken). - Technical knowledge: Technical expertise in fluid and mechanical aircraft systems, along with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) development.
