As a QA Engineer, you'll be the quality advocate within your team, helping shape testing practices, drive automation efforts, and ensure that reliable software is delivered with confidence. You'll work closely with developers, product stakeholders, and fellow engineers to build quality into every stage of the delivery process.

{ your_responsibilities: [
- Own and continuously improve the team's testing approach for our web applications, becoming the go-to person for testing topics in an agile environment.
- Ensure test readiness across infrastructure, environments, browsers, and test data to enable smooth and reliable execution.
- Design, implement, and expand automated test coverage for our web frontends, including UI, component , end-to-end, and cross-browser testing, as well as the underlying API integrations.
- Collaborate closely wit h developers, UX, and product stakeholders to i dentify risks, clarify requirements, and prevent defects early in the development lifecycle.
- Analyze test failures and defects, support root-cause analysis, and identify recurring quality issues and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Share regular testing insights, results, and quality metrics with stakeholders, supporting informed release decisions.
- Contribute to Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery practices, helping the team improve quality while maintaining delivery speed.

{ following_qualifications_would_be_in_line_with_our_desired_profile_for_this_position: [
- Experience in software quality assurance and test automation for web applications, with a strong understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and risk-based testing.
- Hands-on experience with web test automation frameworks such as Playwright, including different testing levels and approaches such as component , integration, visual regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Programming experience with TypeScript/JavaScript or comparable technologies, with an interest in continuously improving testing practices and automation coverage.
- Familiarity with API validation and mocking, test environments, test data management, and cross-browser and responsive testing.
- Experience with one or more of the following is a plus: Playwright, Cypress, accessibility testing, React or Angular, Jira Xray, GitLab CI.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to communicate effectively in cross-functional environments.
- Fluency in English.
