Electrical System Installation Design Engineer (Military Derivatives)

Descripción de puesto: An opportunity for an Electrical System Installation Design Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space , Getafe (Madrid) . The selected candidate will join the Military Derivatives department inside Air Power . The team is working on an exciting, challenging, and ambitious new upcoming military Program that will help reinforce European sovereignty . The jobholder will reinforce our team to increase capacities for the launch of this thrilling new project . RESPONSIBILITIES The main tasks of the jobholder will be: - Design and validate electrical harnesses, electrical boxes, and control units' installation following associated Design Principles from architecture definition to in-service activities . - Apply relevant regulations , installation processes, methods, tools, and procedures across all project phases . - Manage complex systems integration with a strong customer-oriented view . - Participate actively in collaborative and concurrence processes with Industrial and Production teams . - Collaborate closely with other Engineering Design offices (e.g., systems analysis, loads, DMU/CAD) to define design interfaces . - Provide technical knowledge and support to various stakeholders , including quality, purchasing, supply chain, and production . We are looking forward to knowing you: - Education: Aerospace or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline . - Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Engineering, preferably with 2 years in Electrical Systems Installation . - Soft skills: High adaptability to work on new topics in a collaborative mode, strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactive attitude, and open-mindedness . - Languages: Full proficiency in English and advanced level in Spanish . - Technical knowledge: Electrical Systems Installation, electrical harnesses design, DMU/CAD interfaces, and systems integration . - Valuable / Nice to have: French language skills will be an asset .
