Multiverse Computing Multiverse is a well-funded, fast-growing deep-tech company founded in 2019. We are the largest quantum software company in the EU and have been recognized by CB Insights (2023 and 2025) as one of the 100 most promising AI companies in the world. With 180+ employees and growing, our team is fully multicultural and international. We deliver hyper-efficient software for companies seeking a competitive edge through quantum computing and artificial intelligence. Our flagship products, CompactifAI and Singularity, address critical needs across various industries: - CompactifAI is a groundbreaking compression tool for foundational AI models based on Tensor Networks. It enables the compression of large AI systems—such as language models—to make them significantly more efficient and portable. - Singularity is a quantum- and quantum-inspired optimization platform used by blue-chip companies to solve complex problems in finance, energy, manufacturing, and beyond. It integrates seamlessly with existing systems and delivers immediate performance gains on classical and quantum hardware. You’ll be working alongside world-leading experts to develop solutions that tackle real-world challenges. We’re looking for passionate individuals eager to grow in an ethics-driven environment that values sustainability and diversity. We’re committed to building a truly inclusive culture—come and join us. About Services Engineering Services Engineering works at the intersection of AI engineering, customer delivery and production systems. We turn technical requirements and prototypes into reliable AI solutions in collaboration with customers and our Product and Platform teams. Our portfolio includes cloud and hybrid deployments, model inference APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic applications and data integrations, so you will contribute across several projects rather than supporting a single product. About the Role As a Junior DevOps Engineer embedded in Services Engineering, you will work day to day with machine learning engineers, AI engineers and technical leads. You will also collaborate closely with our Platform and DevOps teams to reuse company standards, improve delivery workflows and turn useful project learnings into repeatable practices. This is a hands-on role with room to grow. With support from experienced engineers, you will own well-scoped deployment and infrastructure work and progressively take responsibility for more of the lifecycle, from technical design to deployment and observability. As a DevOps Engineer You Will • Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for AI and software projects using tools such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions. • Containerize and deploy services using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps-based workflows such as Argo CD. • Provision and evolve cloud infrastructure through infrastructure as code, primarily with Terraform and AWS or Azure services. • Work with project engineers from the start of an initiative to define practical deployment, environment and operational requirements. • Improve observability through useful metrics, logs, dashboards and alerts, and help teams understand the operational health of their services. • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and integration issues, identify root causes and document durable fixes. • Apply appropriate practices for secrets, access control, configuration, networking and environment isolation in Multiverse-managed and customer environments. • Automate repetitive work through Bash, Python or another suitable language and contribute to application or tooling code when it improves delivery. • Communicate priorities, progress and risks clearly while supporting several projects with different timelines and needs. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. • Approximately 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, site reliability or software engineering with meaningful deployment responsibilities. Internships and graduate roles count toward this experience. • Hands-on experience with Linux, Git, CI/CD pipelines and scripting in Bash, Python or a comparable language. • Working knowledge of Docker and foundational experience deploying or troubleshooting workloads in Kubernetes. • Foundational experience with at least one public cloud provider, preferably AWS or Azure. • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or an equivalent technology. • A structured approach to troubleshooting, together with good communication and collaboration skills across engineering teams. • Professional working proficiency in English. Preferred Qualifications • Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field • Experience with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Helm, Terraform or Crossplane. • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or OpenTelemetry. • Experience deploying APIs, microservices or data-intensive applications in production environments. • Exposure to infrastructure for machine learning, model inference, retrieval systems or agentic AI applications. • Experience working across cloud, hybrid or customer-managed environments, or software engineering experience in Python. • Experience in a project-based, consulting or customer delivery environment. What Success Looks Like • You become productive quickly on existing Services projects and use established company standards rather than creating isolated solutions. • You independently deliver well-scoped pipeline, infrastructure and deployment improvements while escalating architectural decisions appropriately. • Project teams involve DevOps earlier because you are a reliable partner, and their deployments become more reproducible, observable and easier to operate. •You steadily expand your technical scope and ownership with support from Services and Platform colleagues.
