What you will be doing You will be on a development journey to guide your growth into the role of Aerodynamics engineer and can expect to be involved in the following: - Contribute to the aerodynamic design and characterization of air inlets and outlets of air systems and APU - Develop high-quality surface geometry and 3D models using CATIA and/or 3DX, perform comprehensive CFD simulations to analyze and validate both internal and external aerodynamic performance (drag, stability, control). - Support wind tunnel and flight testing activities, from test preparation and execution to post-processing and analysis of results. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our aerodynamic design methodologies, tools, and best practices. - Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines, including Structures, Propulsion, and Systems, to achieve a fully integrated and optimized aircraft design. Your development journey will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position. At the end of the two year development programme, you will have developed into the position of Aerodynamics engineer! What we are looking for To be a successful applicant, you will need to demonstrate you have: - A degree level or equivalent within Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering or a related field - Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of aerodynamic design roles within the aerospace industry. - Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English) - A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation - The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
