A400M Material Support Specialist

Descripción de puesto: An opportunity for a Material Support Services Coordinator has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space , Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the Material Support Services Team . This multidisciplinary and cross-functional team plays a critical role in customer satisfaction and fleet support, acting as the primary bridge between external clients, international subsidiaries, and internal directorates to ensure high-performance material availability for major programs such as the A400M. RESPONSIBILITIES - Act as the main focal point for customers and subsidiaries regarding all Material Support Services (spares, AGEs, repairs, and ISS deliverables), guaranteeing high-level service quality. - Coordinate cross-functional alignment between the Material Support organization and key internal directorates (Programs, Legal, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, MRO, etc.). - Drive contract execution to maximize A400M Fleet Availability by anticipating material availability needs and resolving customer queries efficiently. - Manage contract financial performance by forecasting requirements, contributing to the annual OP budget, scheduling expenditures, and mitigating budget deviations. - Monitor procedures, contracts, and end-to-end supply chain visibility to systematically manage and mitigate operational risks and issues. - Ensure all contractual deliverables (spares and repairs) are provided On-Time, On-Cost, and On-Quality. We are looking forward to know you: - Education : Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline. - Experience : At least 3–5 years of experience in Material Support, Customer Services, Program Management, or Supply Chain within the aerospace or defense industry. - Soft skills : Strong cross-functional coordination, problem-solving mindset, risk management abilities, and high adaptability to work in a networking environment. - Languages : Advanced level in English (C1/C2) & Spanish (both written & spoken). - Technical knowledge : In-depth knowledge of Material Support operations (Spares, Repairs, AGEs), contract management, and budget tracking tools/methodologies. - Valuable / Nice to have : Direct experience with the A400M program or military fleet support services will be highly valued.
